toddlers and seeing things? people?

My 3yr old daughter was put to bed about an hour ago. She came into my room about 20min ago giggling, nervously, saying that she dropped her toy out of her bed and a man handed it back to her. She kept saying it over and over. I froze. My husband isn't home, he's a bartender so he's working atm. I got the gun out of the safe and I'm sitting in bed with her asking questions about him and she just keeps saying that it was too dark and that he had a big hand. Idk if she was asleep and was dreaming. She said she was awake. I don't want to leave my room bc my infant is in bed. Do children see people? I haven't heard or seen anything so idk if there's really someone in there or not... I can't relax... has this happened to any of you mom's? It's not the first time she's claimed to have seen someone/talked to someone...

when my niece was 2 or 3. She kept staring into my mom's kitchen it was around 9 o'clock at night I asked her what she was staring at. She informed me she was staring at the man standing by our refrigerator. My father was in Afghanistan at the time, my brother was staying at a friends house. The only man there was my sisters boyfriend and we were all sitting in the living room where my niece was.

My son has talked about a man in our house. I've seen lots of things myself so I'm not quick to doubt him..

Scary stories!! This was fun to read tho! My son never really did anything like this exactly but i definitely think kids can sense things. My best friend passed away in 2007 when my son was about 18 months. I used to go to the cemetery and visit her stone. When my son was about 2 1/2 he said "Mommy I don't like going to the place with all the signs. It's scary there." And he had no idea what a cemetery or tombstones were for and definitely had never seen anything like it on tv at that age. When I was a kid I used to think I saw stuff. But idk if it was real or just a wild imagination.

I love these stories.   I can only hope that my brother visits my son.  He passed a year before I got pregnant so it would be kind of nice knowing that he has met my son.

These posts have me in tears and have sent chills up my spine.
Everything was fine. I called my husband after loading the gun and sticking it in the night stand. My daughter went back to sleep in my bed and my husband hurried home and checked out the house. No sign of anything. Ty for the responses ladies. It's comforting to know that this is normal but still very uncomfortable at the same time. I'm sorry for all of your losses and congratulations on your precious babies! XX

I am a spiritual advisor, Yes the real thing not a fke and I can tell you children under 5 are still connected to.the.other side and can sense and see spirits demons and dead relatives. Your daughter saw a spirit, use sage to cleanse your home and this spirit wont come back.

People dont believe in these things but having read and worked on clearing homes of spirits, its something that is very much real.

Infants also see angels as well they will stare off and look and you wonder what they see, they are looking at angels or passed over family members.

really? I 100% believe in the supernatural, but that it's not what this mom needs to hear right now! I hope you read this, hon...at this age, children cannot differentiate real life from dreams or their imagination. she was dreaming but doesn't realize it. everything is fine! this will continue until children are five or so and is perfectly normal.

I used to work in a nursery class and one day we took the children out to visit a church. It was one of them old churchs with graves out the front. As we were walking up to the church one little boy said 'why are all those people staring at us?' Totally freaked me out as we were the only ones there. Also my nephew was looking out of the window one day and started laughing I mean hysterically laughing as if he had seen something really funny so I got up to look wot he had seen and nothing there. I said what r u laughing at thinking whatever had happendd had now gone and id missed it he replied' that boy over there is falling over' ...I defo think children are more tuned into things I think as adults we block it out a becuz we are told theres nothing there and we believe it

When my little brother was younger my mum said he always spoke to a lady at the end of his bed and she and my dad showed him pictures and he picked out my grandmother she died before my sister was even born and she was the oldest. My cousin used to talk to someone as well when he was little. A few times my daughter who is 3 spoke to someone in her room now everywhere we go she always talks to the wall to this same person doesn't matter where we are he is always there and she says he is her friend and he is a nice old man called Ronnie (well Ronnie was my grandad who died 4months before she was born) x

As a kid I was in tuned with things others could not see lamps only flickered on and off when I was directly in the room had electricity checked and everything was not the cause and no one else a experienced this happening when in any room in the house only me I would say stop that's enough and it would stop for a little bit pick back up I saw shadow at an aunts house in hallway when lights off only hallway light on her kids did not only me she never saw it either and her bedroom sat close to the kids room all sortswindows got checked locked from inside no intruder police officer lived next door checked perimeter locks make sure they were not easy to get loose. Was never scary to me I never freaked out. Was more of a comforting feeling when I saw the shawow or the lights at my house flickered like crazy the second I came in the room. I also hear my bedroom door knob shake  at night when it is not  shaking or being touched have since august of 2012 when my grampa past away its an every night thing does not scare me but does my son. He won't sleep in there without me or in his room which is by mine unless I am in there so he sleeps in my room on floor at night and if iI leave room he wakes up he freaks out crys screams at top of his lungs for me and says he's scary there's a man  I think he sees my grampa I know i do every night before I fall asleep  whom he has met but did not meet till he was three and he would not go to him nothing had to have my sister take him to hospital lobby before I  got chance to tell my son whom his grandfather was before he died  but could be imaginary just have police check the premises locks and IGeverything checks out and she still sees it bit don't freak out you don't freak out cause sometimes them seeing u freakout get scared can cause them too when they were not freaked out or scared before

My aunt had a friend over with their young son and he wandered off in the house.  She found him standing in her room talking.  She asked him what he was doing, he said he was talking to the woman in the rocking chair.  My aunt noticed the chair was rocking slightly at that time.  She figured it was her great aunt since it was her rocking chair.  She lives alone, so fortunately that stuff doesn't creep her out.

Kids are so creepy! I'd be scared too just in case their was an intruder.. But if that can be ruled out I wouldn't put too much thought into it. You'd probably creep yourself out and it could have been a dream or what not.

When I was pregnant with my second my oldest was 2. My hubby and I made him a really cool big boy room in our basement....right under our room and not far away. He would cry all the time until someone would lay with him. One night I Sat on his bed and asked him what was wrong. He looked straight through me into his closet and said I don't know. And claimed he was afraid of the light. Freaked me out! He has since been back in his old room with his brother and still won't play down there alone. I have no idea what happened, but I hope he eventually gets over it. Hopefully just his guardian angel....

Omg wow! So glad this hasn't happened to me! I'm terrified of anything scary or not normal! I hate to move into new houses and this would not be good for me! I would have called the cops already! And not let her sleep in her room anymore! Good luck this seems to be very odd! Trust ur instinct and I hope it's all fine!

my brother passed away from cancer in 1996.. he was 16 days away from his 4th birthday, and I was 7.

after he passed away, my grandma walked into my room to check on me at night. she said I was sitting up, in my bed, talking to my brother.. she said she was standing right in front of me, and I never acknowledged her. to this very day, I remember having this vision, but I NEVER knew she was in the room.

I truly believe that this not only happens to toddlers but older children, maybe even adults in some cases. my brother is an angel, and I know he came to me that night for a reason.. I remember a few details, but I'll cry if I go into that lol

anyways, I'm not pregnant with a baby boy due in October & I truly feel as if he was sent to me for a reason.. his name will be Colby Lee - Lee is my daddy's middle name, and it was also my brother's middle name! (((: ❤
