My doctor's nurse warned me about getting my tubes tied (and burnt) the same day that I deliver. She said your uterus goes trough rapid healing after child birth making it really a bad time to do a tubal ligation. You have increased chance of your tubes healing as well. I'm still doing it because I'd like to kill two birds with one stone. If I get pregnant I'm gonna take it as God's will for me.

My aunt has 7 kids... the 5th was a birth control baby (pill), 6th was a deprovera baby. She got her tubes tied after #6--- she went on a chemotherapy drug (for lupus) and the #1 ingredient is also the #1 ingredient  the morning after pill... and she still got pregnant with #7... she ended up getting really bad preeclampsia and toxemia and was forced to deliver at 24 weeks...

Thank you all! I know someone who did...but when you find yourself in thst situation of wondering if they have grown back its a different story!! For those who did....was it detectable on a urine test or did you have to have bloodwork? In all the research I have done over the past week it said that many will not show on a urine test until 4-6 months and that they had to have the bloodwork to find out. Thanks for yalls help!!

my mama had a friend she used to work with who had 3 kids and wanted her tubes tied and cut.. well, she had it done & she got pregnant with her 4th.

then, she had them cut, tied, and burned. well, she got pregnant with her 5th lol! so I think she finally just had them removed.. they don't work together anymore, but who knows.. she probably got pregnant again haha!

My friend got pregnant after getting her tubes tied. I thought maybe she got pregnant before she got them tied but nope it was for sure after.

it is possible though unlikely.

there are cases of peoples tubes growing back together, but that is usually just with people who had it done pretty young.

people have gotten the procedure reversed
