pregnant with coeliac

Hi ladies iv been diagnosed with coeliac disease recently. Im going through my 3rd pregnancy any1 out there with coeliac and finding it hard. Just hopin  the  baby dose'nt have it aswel.

I do have iron deficiency. But I  havn't  been told to have extra iron. No extra  scans aswel.

Only if your alredy low on them like i have iton deficentcy low folic acid low vid d  love calcium. So i get watchd a little mre and have extra scans to chek on baby and i have extra meds x

R v suppose to b having extra vitamin or iron supplements if v have coeliac in pregnancy?

It can also be inherited but aparently skips a generation so i was told by a doctor  wen i was first diagnosed and my nan (dads mum) had it also... IF thats tru it wud mean our grandkids cud poss get it x

There is a genetic component to celiac, making people more likely to develop the condition. But it doesn't mean your kids will get it, most people only get it after having food poisoning or a parasite.

Yup dats me. I ws gna ask this and neva got round to it lol. My main problem is not absorbing vits and mainly iton meanin i need iron infusions and blood transfuaions. Im 21 weeks and baby is ok so far so gd :)
