conceived on bc?

Has anyone conceived while on birth control?  I am a mom of one and have been on bc ever since. I was supposed to get my period last week, it never came. I took 2 home pregnancy tests and both came out positive.  I never skipped and pill. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Nope no antibiotics... just God's way of saying it was time for us to have another baby. It should be interesting what his reaction will be. Thanks for sharing your stories ladies I really appreciate it

If by any chance you where on antibiotics your bc was not working and that could have been the way you got pregnant.  I'm just saying.
I have 2 kids, the eldest will be 3 on April 2, I have a 15 month old and I'm 38 weeks pregnant. My first two were planned. I was on bc and antibiotics and got pregnant.

I conceived on birth control pills this pregnancy. I missed two pills in a row because I moved and misplaced my pack of pills, but we used condoms for the rest of the cycle. It didn't make a difference lol I'm due June 12th.

Yes, this LO was conceived while on the pill. It was mostly my own lack of knowledge on the matter, though.
I thought that once my period had started in the green pills, I was in the clear to have sex. I didn't know that sperm can stay in the reproductive tract, and I ended up pregnant anyway.
I prefer the Depo Provera shot because it eliminates (or almost, anyway) periods and requires no daily task. I don't like needles, though, and it always hurts me for a few days.
After this one is born, I'm going to try Mirena.

Thanks ladies... I have an appointment on the 31st to confirm. I haven't told my husband just yet a little nervous. I've wanted another baby for about a year now and since he wasn't on board I stayed on birth control and now I could very well be pregnant. I'm excited and nd nervous all at the same time. I will keep you posted. Thanks and not gain for letting me know I'm not the only one.

I got pregnant on the depo provera shot twice. First time led to a miscarriage,  but the second time has been successful so far. I'm 9 weeks today. Had to stop the shot because I wasn't feeling "normal". Didn't want another miscarriage.

Yes in a way it has for me. I got pregnant on the sugar pills and didn't remember that my prescription was up. With everything I did back in August I should of miscarried but never did which is crazy. I took zovia and I still will because it regulates my periods very well and my hormones but I may try something different though, who knows. Good luck :)

Birth control is not 100 percent effeceffective. I have a friend who was born despite her parents using birth control pills and a condom. If you are pregnant, though, make sure you stop taking the pill.

My friend did. Turns out there was a recall on hers but when she went and called they said her batch was not part of the recall. A few weeks later she was pregnant.
