40 weeks 6 days...

She won't induce me until 42 weeks...so I have another week of misery!!!! Blah. Someone talk to me aboit being induced....what's it like??

Not usually as they want to make sure that the pitocin has worked first.  But as soon as you are having contractions and have reached 4cm dilated you can get an epidural.  Ive been through this before and am still worrying I just hope I have a nice midwife! :)

Thank you. Can you ask for the epi before the potocin ??

Im being induced nxt week at 42 weeks. Just be aware that contractions can come very quick and intense. Most women who are induced tend to ask for an epidural because of this. If you want it..take it. After 12 hours I pushed her out. Once I had an epidural I didntfeel any pain..didnt feel them even give me the epidural as contractions were so intense and not really any breaks in between them. I really wanted a water birth this time but at least he will be born I guess. Goodluck
