I liked that last idea. Yea i want to have fun with this one. I'll talk to him and see what he'd like to do. I don't mind if he knows but he's not very good with secrets lol. we just found out that I'm pregnant last week so I'm trying to go ahead and start preparing. He has no idea what's in store lol so much fun >:}
One thing you could do is have the Dr write down the gender, put it in an envelop, then you give it to a friend. About a week or two before the birth they throw you a shower and the theme will be whatever gender you're having. That's when you find out and you have everything for that gender from those that attend.
To me its a surprise at the ultra sound just as much as at the birth. We are finding out asap!
This is my 3rd and we didn't find out the sex of our second and now this one. I can tell you its a lot of fun not knowing. We buy a boy and girl outfit for the hospital and friends and family always bring stuff. If you can do wait I would.
Someone probably will spill the beans! Lol, Atleast in my family, secrets aren't kept very long! Lol, maybe keep trying to talk him into letting it be a surprise too! But if he's set on finding out, I wish I had more advice, but that's a tough one! Lol...good luck.
How long before your ultrasound?
Everyone finds out the gender now & i think it's nice for it to be both, you & your other half to know 1st before everyone else. We have two sons & didn't find out before & with this one we have done the same. My work threw us a surprise baby shower which was amazing both blue & pink accessories bibs, vests, cupcakes & juice pink lemonade & blueberry! Im 40wks+2 & will know soon enough with our surprise once again! Good luck x
I was thinking I'd let him know but not me. This will be his first. We want a boy as well but since it's my 2nd I'd like for it to be like surprise I guess lol. If he knows (which he wants to know) he could maybe tell others what to get and we could do a shower after the birth. Question is, how does that keep me from knowing because I feel like someone might spill the beans

I'm glad u asked this! I have been thinking of doing the same thing! This is our 3rd together and he has 3 girls. 2 together and an older daughter from a previous relationship. So we are definitely hoping for a boy! But knowing this is our last baby, idk if we wanna wait or not! Lol..I know the only thing I can think of is having to buy gender neutral everything...like greens and yellows Until after baby arrives
