Me too.. It gets depressing at times but I just think of the beautiful lil person that comes out of it. Still It's going to be so hard to lose the weight afterwards.

I know how you feel.  Ive been bigger all my life, but being pregnant makes it worse.  I finally managed to loose 70 lbs after ym last baby,  and was feeling good, but Ive already gained as much as I did in my other pregnancies and am only 31 weeks.  Im afraid I will have to start all over again with loosing weight :(.

I definitely feel the same. I'm 5.6 and 212 at 8 weeks pregnant. I always tried to eat better knowing I'm already over weight but I still gain so much. It's kind of depressing.

I was 10 pounds over weight with my first and I gained 50 pounds, this time I was 15 over weight, and by time I reached 40 pound weight gain, I stopped looking at the scale. I'm just tired of seeing the numbers go up. I eat a balanced diet stay active,  crave lots of fruit, but when I'm pregnant, the weight just jumps on me.

I had my
first baby last year and gained 50 lbs which brought me to 240..blah and i only lost 25lbs before i got pregnant w this one. But ive been really careful and ive been trying really hard not to gain too much weight. Im 18 weeks now and ive only gaine 1 lbs. If u eat right and balance ur meals and dont eat heavy at night u can do it.

I understand how you feel! I'm only 5'1 and started at 155lbs when I found out I was pregnant. My pregnancy has not been an easy one and at my last appt at 32weeks I was already at 209lbs. I will be 34weeks on Monday so I still have a little time but I've already gained 50lbs. With my first child I gained 67lbs but I was only 105lbs when I started so it wasn't bad. That was 13yrs ago. Needless to say I. Have some work to do when baby gets here!! It's frustrating and scary but I'm focused on getting myself back on track when baby gets here

(and it is true when they say overweight women don't need to gain very much weight,  we already have the extra fat needed to support baby, so if you live healthy the only weight you'll gain is the weight the baby gains)

If you eat right and slowly increase your exercise you might be able to not gain any weight at all. I'm 225 and at 32 weeks I've only gained three pounds from my prepregancy weight by making healthier lifestyle choices and walking every day. My doctor is very impressed because I usually gain weight at the drop of a hat, but I know the more weight I gain the worse I'm going to feel about myself, so it's all about finding a happy medium. I'm not telling you to diet, just watch your portions and eat often to keep your metabolism going steady. Maybe ask if you can be referred to a nutritionist to help you figure out the best meal plan for you.

I hear u!  3 years ago I lost my job so I decided to lose some weight too! I weighed over 200 lbs! I lost weight to 165 and got pregnant!!! I was so frustrated but had to remind myself its a good fat cuz I'm getting a baby girl from this!!! Now it took me until she was about 2 yrs old to get back down to 170 and again for out I was pregnant again, this time I'm having twins! I'm sooooo crushed again but keep reminding myself I'm getting 2 babies more and to be happy for healthy kids!! After these 2 I'm getting my tubes tied so I won't be crushed again!!
