I'm 27 weeks and a few days. I've been having bad rib pains. Is this normal?  It's very hard to find a comfortable sleeping position I love to sleep on my back but I know I cant.

Yea I have the same problem. It won't hurt to move baby, but if he's anything like my son he will move back. I think my baby thinks it's a game & since Im almost 36weeks there is not much room for him to go anywhere.

in my opinion you should position your self the best and as comftorble as you can. and your baby will move down in a comtorble position for his/her self.

I woke up elevated on my back a few nights ago and it was the first time he was in my ribs hurt so bad i could barely move to get in a different position.  Will it hurt him If i push him down? He is normally on my bladder which is very comfortable for me lower pain hasn't bothered me but back and ribs do.

You can sleep on your back but just be careful. Your chest has to be elevated. I can only get comfortable on my back a lot of the times. The rib pain could be some of your organs getting moved around or possibly the baby being up in your ribs. My daughter loves my ribs and bladder area under my belly button. I'm 33 weeks today btw so I know what your definitely going thru and it does hurt.
