Gift for the dads

Just wondering if anyone else has got something for their husbands as a thank you after the baby was born. My husband has been beyond amazing to me through out this pregnancy. And after hearing so many stories of dad's that just don't seem to care or be involved with their pregnancies it makes me so grateful to have him. There is no way I could have made it through this pregnancy without him and can not wait to see him with our baby girl for the first time. So I wanted to get him a gift to show that I appreciate all he has done. If you ladies have done something I would love to hear :)

That's a really good idea NewMom85!

how about something with a picture on it to keep at work ? like a mouse pad or a coffee mug. the pic cud be of the three of you, just him with the new born or you both during your pregnancy? !

I think a gift for the husbands or significant others is a great idea. Even though its their job to show us support, we can put them the hell depending on our pregnancy. I would have never thought to thank my spouse, he does so much that is expected of a spouse i tend to forget to thank him. Even though this pregnancy was a surprise, he has been wonderful. Newmom85, Thank you for reminding me i should show my husband how much his support means

My friends told me the baby is a good enough gift too. Haha. I wrote him a letter and put it in the hospital bag for him to find after she is here just thanking him for being so Great. But he really has taken amazing care of me. He even built our crib and changing table himself. It's so easy for men to brush off pregnancy as something women are built to do. I feel lucky to have a man that thinks it's an amazing accomplishment.

I haven't... But after reading your post I want to now! My husband has been such a blessing to me this pregnancy! Cooking, cleaning, putting up with my moods, giving me massages.
I'll let you know if I think of any good ideas :)
