You're response will mean the world to me...

I'm 31 weeks, I've posted questions asking input, advice and for other mom's experiences. Only to get one reply. I've "bumped to get it to the top" only for the only responses to be my own bumps. I'm a second time Mom with a 9 year age gap, so really I feel like this is my first baby all over again.

So far this pregnancy has been ok, extreme nausea and weight loss in the beginning but baby is strong and healthy.

I've had braxton hicks for about a month. Painless no pattern and going away.

I have a high pain tolerance, I'd say with my first labor the pain was an 8 at the highest, highest being a 10 when I tore... This last few days I've had more frequent contractions my pain is probably a 3-4. My doctor isn't worried yet but said if they get more frequent or stronger to come in and get checked.

Guess I'm looking for other high pain tolerant mom's, mom's that delivered preemies, mom's that dealt with this pain for 4-8 weeks... Etc.

Back pain, hip pressure, pelvic and tailbone pressure, tummy tightening, feeling queasy in general, not going away when I lay down on either side, round ligament pain, next to no sleep. Desk day job, feet are up doing minimal activity....

Thank you for taking the time to read this and more importantly to those who reply. I understand reading a post and not responding when you don't have the answer, I respond to as many as I can with answers when I have them.

Good luck mamas and have a safe new year!!!

Thank you ladies, yeah I guess I didn't have an exact question, wish I could plug my senses in so you could feel what I'm feeling and tell me what to do. Getting easier to tell when tummy is tight because my acrobat slows down when I'm contracting. My dog won't leave my side so I know it must be getting serious lol. My husband is getting quiet and serious aka nervous. I just want my body to calm down so I can have a good nights rest and enjoy a little of my third trimester!! Ribs and back pain. Luckily half day tomorrow at work then holiday weekend starts again!

I also have a high pain tolerance. This is my 3rd pregnancy and i find myself in pain more often than with my previous 2. All I take is tylenol. I also have had headaches and anxiety this tine around. Anxiety becaude my last child passed away at 9 days old due to encephalocele.  Her brain grew entirely outside of her skull. And we knew from 20 weeks on that we wouldnt have her long.

I have a sorta high pain tolerance. I mean I suffered through a impassable kidney stone and finally passed it, Dr said it was bigger than my ureter.

I have been having the same type of pains you describe. My Dr said it is normal even though I insist it is not. I have already been through this five times recently, my oldest being eight. They say baby is fine so I guess there is nothing to worry about but I still hope he does not come early because it feels like he could come anytime.

I have a high pain tolerance too. I just had my 2nd baby 4wks ago. With him I had braxton hicks from 18wks, surgery at 21wks, random uterine contractions from 24wks which turned into preterm labour at 27wks, and he fractured my pelvis when he dropped at 28wks.  He was eventually born via emergency csection at 36+1wks after a short labour. I drove my ob crazy because I never really knew when I was in labour and when it was worth coming in and getting it stopped so he kept me I the hospital on strict bed rest for a lot of my pregnancy. When I was at home he kept saying to call him whenever the contractions became timeable and especially if I couldn't talk through them.

Sorry to hear you're in so much pain. Six months from now this will be a distant memory.

I should add I'm also a second time mum with a 5 year old daughter (I had an em section with her due to her being to large and the doctors not realising) so in some ways it feels like I'm at the start again, but I know she'll be a great help. I'm also a phd student so trying to do that along with a 5 year old, pain issues, crutches and ongoing nausea is not easy. But I know in May it will be worth it and I can hopefully get back on my medication and get my body back into some sort of functioning state.

It's times like this that I am very jealous of the ladies who have wonderful pregnancies like my mum did.lol

Hi, I am not being rude at all and I'm really sorry but I don't know what to say because there is no actual question asked? Is it to do with how other mums with a lot of pain cope? If it is I can understand how you feel. I have a disability where I subluxate and dislocate joints (EDS), mostly my hips/ribs/metatarsals and knees and because of it I have a high pain tolerance.
Because of wanting another baby I came off my high strength medication 3 months before I conceived (now 18 weeks). I thought dealing with the EDS would be difficult but then I developed HG which meant I lost a lot of weight and couldn't do physio and I am currently on crutches due to SPD (though I was expecting that) and I'll need a wheelchair by 30 weeks.

There's not a lot I can do except grin and bear it unfortunately, as while I am allowed medication when I dislocate I don't like taking it.
I use targets to help me such as 'get to 20 weeks and enjoy the scan' then after that I'll create a new one. It's helped so far and im at the point where I feel my little girl moving about so it is a good distraction from the pain.

I hope that's helped?

I have a pretty high pain tolerance as well. I have 4.5 year old a 14 month old and andy 32/6 weeks pregnant with my third. I am in extreme pain with this pregnancy. I have about and dozen hernias in all over my stomach from previous surgeries plus an abdomen full of adhesions. They really did not hurt with my first 2. Now no matter what I do I cannot get comfortable or hug my kids without wincing in pain. The Dr's said that of the pain gets much worse they will take baby at 36 weeks.
