First OB appointment

Hi all! This is not so much a question but just about my exciting day lol. I went to see my OB for the first time XD. He did an ultrasound and I got to see my baby for the first time! :D I'm just so excited I just had to post it lol. But I do have one question, what's a glucose test? I need to have one in the upcoming weeks and I just want to get as much info I can on glucose test and other tests I might not be to aware of lol.

Ah yeah that rings bells lol. I'm 9+6 weeks with first but he told me about the first few tests and he mentioned the glucose test which I didn't know what it was so yeah

Aww super cool!  That is exciting. Yea a glucose test is where they check for gestational diabetes. How far along are you? They usually don't check 4 that til ur btwn 24-28weeks.

Hi :) how far along are you? Im 9 weeks and 4 days according to my lmp I have my ultrasound scheduled for the 30th im super excited :) I think the glucose test is when they have you drink a sugary drink so they can check for gestational diabetes but I could be wrong
