should I wait?

So I have tasked to a lot of you about finding out the sex of the baby! Most people know Im soooo ready &extra excited! !! I scheduled my US for the 21st when I'm 18 weeks because my doctor always says you can't tell until 18 weeks .but I have talked to lots of you who know & are 13& 14 weeks so .my question is has anyone had an early reading go working by getting an incorrect reading.  I know 1 week  3 days  is the 21st but am I waiting for nothing?  Because I'd love to go in this week!!!

I found out at 16 weeks and it was re-confirmed at my 20 week ultrasound appt.

They should be able to tell you at 18 weeks no problem. I don't think you need to change it. Unless baby is not cooperating at your appt but drink some juice before going in and that should help and you should be able to find out

I found out at 20 weeks and I thought it was too early even then ! I wanted to know exactly what I was having so it was either definitely a boy or definitely a girl. It was a boy at 20 weeks and confirmed it was a boy at 33 weeks. I'd wait until they could tell for sure what it is so you don't get the wrong gender just because they can't tell yet. I'd play it safe and wait so you don't get too excited about the wrong gender lol. But at 20 weeks for me, it was accurate (: good luck !!! And congrats !

I would but i'd have to wait a while. @ least until 24-32 weeks . I dont mind waiting but I sure do see a lot of mommy's that know so I was pretty curious

Not sure how your insurance works,  but I would just wait. Only because if you go in too early and are unable to find out would you be able to get another ultrasound?
