Hello I am 37 weeks having a baby girl. I have gained 50,pounds already with 3 weeks to go. I gained 8 pounds in 2 weeks. Its driving me crazy. I'm so hungry all the time. Most importantly I pray she's healthy but why does my body have to suffer like this (tears)???? Anyone else gain a lot???? Give me some inspiration please???

I gained about 35-40 pounds during both of my previous pregnancies. Im at about 12 pounds gained this time at 20 weeks. With both of my other kids I actually left the hospital weighing more than I did before I got there with all the IV fluids and such. ... but 2 weeks after birth I was back to my pre pregnancy weight

With my first pregnancy I started out at 210 the biggest I've ever weighed when I went to deliver I weighed 217 and left the hospital weighing 207. This is my second pregnancy and I started it at 203 and now I'm 16 soon to be 17 wks and have only gained 2 lbs. The Dr isn't concerned with my wt and the baby is fine and I'm hoping to just gain baby wt like I did with my first.

36 weeks here, with a 55 lb gain. A little depressing but knowing the baby is healthy is worth it. iRight before i got pregnant, i lost 65lbs now to gain it back has me worried but to know its capable of coming off helps me out. I try to look at the bright side, and you can try going for a 20 min walk to help and make yourself feel better, and it will help with birth too :) good luck.

I'm 33 wks today, it's my first pregnancy & I've gained 35-40lbs! My doctors haven't said anything about it. This is my fiancé's third child & he tells me all the time I'm really not big. Lol. But hearing that from other people doesn't help how you feel, I know. You are not alone & it's completely normal! You are almost done & I'm sure you look beautiful!

I gained 55 with my first and lost 40 in the first month after having him via csec. So it came off fast especially since I couldn't move around very well. It was unplanned csec and killed my body.

I was like that with my first I gained 60 lbs it hurt my body so much I am watching my weight closely this time. I'm 18+4 and I've cut back my eating. I've gained about 12 lbs. I ate more fast food being so tired. It's so hard :( it's taking me hard discipline to eat smaller meals but when I get hungry snack on yogurt fruits and veggies anything low calorie. It's so much easier said than done. Positive thing is your almost at the end and your appetite and weight will come right down. Hang in there! We are all with you.

I am 36 + 3 with my first, a boy, and I have gained 53 pounds already. So don't worry, you are not the only one! My doctors have not been concerned about my weight gain because I started out so small and all of my numbers are great, so as long as you and the baby are healthy, keep on going! I have been trying to eat really healthy, especially these last few weeks, so the baby doesn't get too big. So far he is on target. Good luck!!
