This is my first pregnancy..n m into 30 weeks 5 days..doc says babies growth is gud than the dates..but my mom says my belly size does not looks like 8 month..means its small..wat does it mean..??does it mean m having a girl we dnt go thru gender scan ..so m more curious. ????

30 weeks isn't 8 months first off. It's technically 6.89 months. Some might say you are 7 months but there isn't exactly 28 days only in every month. So with that being said you could be carrying the baby more in your back or you just haven't reached a point where baby has grown a lot yet. At 30 weeks baby is only about 3 pounds anyways. I wouldn't let what she says get to you. You still have a lot of time left for baby to grow.

Size does not indicate gender.  Some girls are big and some are small.  There is absolutely no way to tell based on size.

Tnx..is it related to gender of the baby..i have not gone thru gender scan..so m very curious to knw..does small belly indicates baby girl..??

I was small, too, until the last couple months with my first. Then, bam! Stretch marks and sweatpants.
As long as baby is growing fine, that's all I'd worry about.

If the doctor said that the baby growth is good then you should not worry.
And be happy that you have a small bump and the baby is fine.  :-)
