I just saw my doc on wed and she checked my cervix only because I was being tested for strep anyways. I am not on a weekly schedule either. Every two weeks for me
Oh sorry forgot the other question lol....back pains are normal due to the extra weight in the front of u and the cramping your most likely feeling is your ligaments stretching, it's possible the you've dropped being a ftm it can happen those early but doesn't mean baby is coming any time soon either....good luck
Seems like nobody really answered What u asked lol....they usually don't check to see if u have dilated until about 37 weeks or unless you've been having a lot of contractions. Your weekly checkups don't start until 36 weeks and forward..
Yes they say bouncing helps make baby drop Google exercise ball and helping with labor there's some good information an different positions to use with the ball to help baby drop. When sitting on it and doing some bouncing and hip circles ur opening up ur pelvis making it easier for baby to drop.
Bouncing on an exercise ball really work ? I am 38 almost 39 weeks and sex and walking has not helped me at all. My past three check ups have been the same result im soft but baby hasnt come down yet :( wednesday she said she could feel though easier, but he's not pushing down :(
Thank you. I'll have to ask my boyfriend to get me a ball..
One thing I found helpful to relieve some lower back pain was to sit up straight on an exercise ball. Ya it doesn't stop it from happening but helps get rid of the pain for a little while. But just sit on it once ur 37weeks if u want to help baby along then u can lightly bounce on the ball or do hip circles while sitting on it but.
I've been having a lot of lower back pain and period cramps in my pelvis since 29weeks I'm currently 31weeks 6days and still experience the same thing sometimes a little worse my Dr checked me but said my cervix was still high and didn't have an explanation to y this was happening. She said maybe from sex but I hadn't been having sex so that wasn't the cause of my problems.
