water breaking

Has anybody experienced their water breaking on its own with a previous pregnancy? This is my second child but i was induced with my first so doctors broke it for me. My doctor and mid wife think that i can go any day now. I know everyone is different but I was just curious to hear some stories and maybe look out for some possible signs that its about to happen.

With my first my water broke.   it was out of no where for sure.  it was 5:45 am I rolled over in bed and heard a pop and felt the gush.... good thing i had been sleeping with a towel on the bed!   I was told to put on a pad too and I had gone through 2 in 30 mins they said I could have a shower get ready and get there within the hour.... I didn't have any contractions with it nothing.  it was just that my water broke.  I went to the hospital by 7, got the epidural around 12:30 and had my son at 4pm...

I had no warnings, I was sittinf on the floor folding clothes at 36wks and my water just broke.. I had no idea it was my water i thought i just peed, so I was told to put a pad on and if i filled it in a certain amount of time (i forgot how long lol) then it was probably my water. I put a pad on and with the next gush i had the pad slid down my shorts lol

It happened for me with my first it was a trickle I didnt realize it was my water breaking, I was walking the halls at the hodpital, with my second there was no warning or pain, I made my oldest some toast and we were laying down to waych a movie in the morning and it felt like a fast stream of water like poking a really full water balloon.  I thought I peed on myself.. lol went to the bathroom and nothing, and then it was just leaking out it was the weirdest feeling ever I was soaked by the time I got tp the hospital all I coukd do was laugh.

With my first son I got up in the middle of the night to take my usual trip to the restroom and there was like a small pop feeling then gush in the toilet and that was my wa breaking. No warnings or anything thank God for the frequent urination!

With my second it was a ordinary day I was 39weeks and 6days I was getting my son ready to go. I stood up to tell him to bring me something then BOOM!!! MY WATER broke. I didn't feel any pain or cramps it just broke on it own. I got to the hospital 20 mins after and I was dialated to a 6. Abt 7hours later my daughter was born on her due date:)

There are no signs.. I was asleep in bed and woke up in a puddle. But I have had five kids and my water only broke before labor Once. The other times it was broke at hospital and the last time I was doing water birth and midwife let it break on its own, it felt weird... I did not feel anything when it broke on it own, but when I woke up I felt relief because belly was not tight.

I had back labor with my second, so apparently had labored for a few days. I have degenerative disc disease and thought that's why I was in pain. One day it was particularly bad so I was laying around. Got up to get a drink of water and thought that I had urinated on myself, showered then it happened again. Called my mom and she said it was probably my water breaking went to hospital and she was right. I heard no pop it wasn't a huge gush either, but you will know because anytime you get up you will leak and it's not the kind of leak that you can stop with kegals. Hope that helps!
