Oh sorry I should've added that part - I'm one of the lucky few, actually went into labor on the morning of my due date, he arrived the next day.
I was 38+5

With my last son I was in labor and had no idea I went to my ob appointment and the dr was like "omg, you're 5 cm and contracting a lot, you don't feel that?!" I was sent right over to labor and delivery they checked me and accidentally broke my water I was holding my son less than 2 hours later. :)
When I went into labor with my son, I knew it. My water broke first and the contractions started right away, they took my breath away. I couldn't speak during them, I knew immediately that it was the real thing. I know it's possible to have effective contractions without feeling them but I have no idea what that might be like.
