subchorionic bleed :(

My fear is becoming reality :( ended up back at the hospital, and found out not only do I have a subchorionic bleed, but apparently I had it last wk when I had an ultrasound n wasn't told :( and on top of that, its now bigger. I had one the last time I was pregnant,  and I ended up loosing the baby at 11wks 5days n lost a tremendous amount of blood. At this point I'm freaking out. Baby is measuring right on schedule at 6wks 4days n does have heartbeat.. has anybody had a subchorionic bleed n successfully carried full term??

I have a similar situation I think I was just in a accident and going to the er they told me I had something like that where my placenta has detached from my uterine wall a little...they say it may heal on its own but I'm so worried....I hope everything heals up and u have a healthy baby

I had it with this pregnancy. I'm almost 36 weeks. I was told to take it easy. No sex or lifting like the previous post said. It happened around the same time yours is. It's really scary. Good luck and I hope everything is OK.

I have had it with this pregnancy. The first time I bled a little around 6 weeks but didn't know I was pregnant til 8 weeks.. Then at 11 weeks I bled again, and a lot. Went to ER they told me I was miscarrying again and sent me home. Went to doc the next day, it was SCH. At 13 weeks I bled again, but it was like a faucet was turned on. I bled heavily with clots non stop for 4 hours, lost so much blood they admitted me just in case I needed a blood transfusion. That ER doc also told me to prepare for the worst, but to pray for the best. And explained that the SCH had become much larger. He called my OBGYN that came to the hospital right away and explained to me what was going on. That I needed to not lift over 10 lbs, no sex, etc until I was medically cleared by him. I was also on bedrest until I had no more bleeding or spotting. I am now 33 weeks this Thursday and baby is doing well, hemmorhage is still there but that isn't too big of an issue right now because I am having a csection anyway.

So there is hope. Just hang in there, take it easy, and no sex for now until doc says its safe.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've never even heard of this. But just try 2 believe the best and try to be in very positive mood maybe and hopefully that'll work.
