I had that last week & it was contractions due to dehydration! Drinks lots of water and see if it helps. If not call your doctor

The pain was eased by the heat.. if you have a heating pad put it on your lowest setting and put it on your back just don't fall asleep. It is not recommended to use heating pad while pregnant but as long as you put it on low and only for short periods of time you should be fine. I used one while pregnant and everything was fine but do not for any reason put it on your tummy it could hurt the baby. Also don't fall asleep cause it can raise your body temp if you have it on you for to long.Maybe an .hr at a time. You should go to the hospital... we are pregnant it is our job to bother our Dr and hospital staff, we are responsible for tiny humans with no voice and need to be over cautious.

How bad is it hurting? I started hurting with my third and it was kidney stones. After that pregnancy I have been plagued by them with all my pregnancys.. they hurt so bad you would think that you in labor... with my last baby I almost lost my left kidney I got septic to...  it would not hurt nothing to go to you Dr or call to see if he wants you to go to hospital... if it hurts really bad or continues tohurt you definitely should... all it can do is ease your mind.

The baby is probably pushing on your sciatic nerve. The only relief is icing your back and stretching!
