summer time pregnancy

I'm pregnant with my first child and my baby is due in November. I live in Massachusetts and we have crazy weather and I'm worrying about the summer heat. I'm trying to cut back on what I used to do in the summer so I'm wondering if I can still go to the beach and pool?

I'm due Oct 2nd and live in Phoenix too. I cannot wait to go swimming in the pool and would be swimming already if I could with it already being a 108 outside. I unfortunately am on IV fluids 24-7 and can't get my IV site wet so I will have to wait a while to swim.

Also due in November. My advice is to just count your blessings that you don't live in phoenix:) we are already experiencing 108 degree weather this weekend and as usual can expect temperatures between 112 and 118 come July. And don't buy that Bologna about it being a dry heat either. Dry heat just means you live in a raging
Inferno comparable to crawling inside an oven every time
You get in your car an can expect to be soaked in sweat in the 20 feet it takes to get from the car to the front door. The dry heat is truly suffocating. If you are lucky enough to live near a beach slather on lots of sunblock and enjoy a refreshing dip in the water:) Also just keep in mind that suffering through a summer pregnancy means you will most likely be on maternity leave for thanksgiving and Christmas! That thought always cheers me up on our hottest days:)

I'm due in Nov too. I live in the south so our heat is sometimes breath taking. I went to the beach last week but I stayed under the umbrella. Plus I do water aerobic too. As long as it's not a hot tub you will be fine. No hot water while pregnant. :-)
