Does anyone know if its bad to spend time in the sun to tan a bit??

I was told to spend more time in the sun, my vitamin D levels were very low.

Just have to be careful. My doc got on me about it. Your skin is different and more likely to burn. I wear sunscreen 15 SPF. And limit, take breaks if your going to be out for long periods.

Just have to be careful of getting too hot. I just read an article too that November babies have more vitamin D and less jaundice because the moms are 2nd trimester and more willing to be out in the sun during summer.
could all be garbage too- lol

Nope its ok. Tanning lotion is ok also. I asked my doc perfectly fine
