labor

Is it true that the people's that stay in bed like bed rest they baby will come later.  Because I'm on bed rest I'm 36.6 weeks and I don't feel any Braxton hicks or pain or anything.  I don't walk unless it's to go eat with family and bathroom  I take bath but no shower.  I just don't want to wait in my 41 week to meet my little girl.

I agree with above. I was on strict bedrest with my first and still had preterm labour at 34wks. This time ive been on bedrest on and off throughout but still had preterm labour at 27wks and 28wks. My dr said to try bedrest for the rest of this pregnancy to hopefully get me to a csection at 36wks but there's no guarantees.

Not true. If it is time for labor your body will go into labor. I'm a labor and delivery nurse for almost 6 years and can tell you even though we out people on bed rest they still deliver early if that's what is meant to happen. The goal is to try to keep stimulation of contractions to a minimum but there are no guarantees.
