primrose oil increase braxton hicks?

So I posted yesterday about primrose oil and decide to insert one last night. I also took one orally. I had not painful, but uncomfortable braxton hicks all night. Is this normal?

Momma_chicken thanks, but I have been and will have to be induced again within the next two weeks. So there has never been any natural process for me. I am just trying to get everything prepared down there,to make this induction easier . I have done ALOT of research already and have found no adverse effects. I am just looking to see what other people's experiences are with it, who have used primrose oil.

Stop doing this, your going to have a miserable labor if you continue this. I know pregnancy is uncomfortable towards the end but your manipulating the whole procesd

The only thing I have heard is that it helps soften your cervix, making it easier to dilate. If you are ready, this can put you into labor.

Its used to soften the cervix. Try taking 2 orally 3x a day if you really want it to work.
