ultrasound dating!

I had an u/s at 6 weeks 5 days && was given a due date of September 5th. I was recently in the hospital due to a pain in my lower abdomen && the u/s tech said my baby is measuring at 33 weeks instead of the 31 that it should be! Would my earlier u/s be more accurate or would the later one be?!

The most.accurate u/s is before 9 weeks. Im 30 weeks but measuring 33 weeks. Just means babe is bigger. I wish it meant theyd change the due date!

Saw my dr on Monday and he said I am measuring at 20weeks not the 16 weeks I am. But he said to keep treating everything like I am at the 16weeks I initially thought. Only difference he told me is it may mean bub could come earlier than expected!

Babies can go through growth spurts too which can mess up ur dates. I'm basically 100% 34 weeks from ultrasound n my lmp but I'm very small. There are a lot of variables. Some women also carry further out then others.

The earliest one is always the most accurate.  I'm 34 weeks and measuring at 37 my baby is just measuring big.
