Just flu vaccines are normally recommended if you are up to date on everything. The flu can be dangerous during pregnancy. If you need a tdap normally that is given at the hospital right after baby is born. whooping cough is on the rise and fully recommend getting one.
Tdap is reccomended at week 28 so the antibodies transfer to baby
At my 28wk check up my doc recommended not only I get a flu shot & Tdap booster, but anyone who will be around baby within the first 2 mths. My husband got both and my other kids just had to get a flu shot, since they have gotten their boosters within the last few years. The grandparents have agreed to get them as well. All you need is a prescription from your doc and you can have it done at the pharmacy along with your flu shot. We just had the doc call one in for him, no copay that way. Just check with the pharmacy ro make sure they have it in stock, if not the will order it.
