I would wait. Also, if you are planning on breastfeeding when the baby is born, any reputable tattoo artist will not tattoo you until you have stopped due to risk of infection.

Defently wait. Anything could happen between now and when bubs is due god for bid it doesnt.  If the artist is a true one they wouldnt risk it (blood posioning, infections etc) the list can go on..

You're just over half way through, and things happen. It could be a boy, or, worse... Just wait. I got my daughters name tattooed on me when she was 3. It made it more special for us cause she was old enough to understand what I was doing and it made her feel special. And then there are the technical aspects of it, allergic reaction, rejection of ink, etc.. And rejection of ink can either just be an annoyance (the color fading) or really really ugly (the ink pushing out and looking like a bubbly blob).

If you find an artist that will tattoo you while pregnant then you need to run as fast as you can away from that place. Any reputable artist wouldn't tattoo a pregnant woman because of the risk of labor. You have a rush of adrenaline when you get a tattoo and that can cause your baby to come early. Not to mention a place that would do that you'd probably risk transmitting something.

It will be difficult finding an artist who will tattoo while pregnant. It's best to wait until after. Your skin is super sensitive right now and there's no telling if it will heal correctly. You also have the chance of your body rejecting the ink or having an allergic reaction.  It can wait.

I would just wait till after she's born ... Things happen what if they were wrong with the ultrasound and it's a boy you just never know
