Quick response needed
In hospital now. I'm 40 weeks pregnant. 3cm easily stretched to 4cm. Contractions every 4 minz. However midwife says I can go home as they arnt painful enough.. can I request waters to be broken?? My midwife who I seen today seems to think so and says they should have done this last sat when I was in hospital. Thanks!
My Dr broke my water at 3 cm I believe with one of my sons.
You can request If for sure. Maybe see if they will allow you to go for an hour walk around the hosp to get things moving then be re checked in the hour or sooner if you have stronger contractions or your water breaks.
Ask for whatever you want. All they can say is no or yes
There is no harm in asking.
