I have never had this however it is not something to be over concerned about. Basically you will just go to the hospital sooner then other women would. They will have you do usually two bags of the antibiotics then will allow you to go about your labor normally.
I had this nothing to be worried about antibiotics will be given to you at the time of labor
Drs told me the same thing and aslong as you get antibiotics while giving birth everything should be fine
I had it with my first , I have it again. It is something you cannot get rid of! You just have to get penicillin or whatever antibiotic and everything will be fine!
I talked to a nurse about this extensively. You'll get the antibiotics when you go in to deliver and its fine. Don't worry at all.
It's nothing you can get rid of. It's normal bacteria that lives in your vagina, it doesn't mean you did anything wrong or you're "dirty". It's completely normal, it just happens to be dangerous for the baby if you deliver vaginally. They'll give you penicillin during your labor to get rid of it and protect the baby. You need at least 2 doses before baby is born.
