Tell him to get off his *** and do his job since you are the one supporting him. You have the belly, use the power.
If mine was a stay at home dad he would be doing all the house work and cooking. I would pitch in and help when I felt like it but if I didn't he could do it himself.
Exactly he chose to be a homemaker and its now his job to take on that responsibility not yours. You are the bread winner not him! He needs to do his part, you don't need to do both all while trying to grow a healthy little human!
Sounds like yall need to set some rules. I usually work and my husband and I would split the chores bc he works as well. When I got pregnant and he asked me to stay at home, we agreed I would do the housework since he is now the only one bringing in a paycheck. If there is something heavy I need moved or I'm just too sick to do much bending over for the day, he helps me with it when he gets home but for the most part, since he is working and supporting us, I also work... on the house. That way he doesn't have to come home and do two jobs.
Sit down with him and explain that childcare and housework are also jobs whether you're paid for them or not and that if you're bringing home the check he needs to be pulling his weight and helping out. Soon you'll be way too big and tired to be doing everything. Then what's he going to do? What will happen if your doc puts you on bedrest for some reason? Is he still going to make you get up and clean for him then? These are all things that need to be addressed. Good luck to you!
