I was over weight when I got pregs too. The doc told me she didn't want me to gain too much weight during pregnancy and said i may even loose weight with morning sickness, no drinking and eating a healthier diet - which she was right as in the first trimester I actually dropped a kilo or two. So long as babies heart beat is strong, you take your vitamins and stay well hydrated I wouldn't be concerned. Babies take what they need, so if anything it would be more your own health suffering before theirs does.

To me..since I am an overweight person already and didn't gain any weight which is good!! But thinking about the baby...no weight gain at all is it safe for baby?? Is what I'm concerned about.

Me too! I am considered as overweight. My weight before pregnant is 165. Now that I am 7 month, my weight haven't change much. I will lose 2-3 pounds from three 165 then gain 1-2 back within few days....but no major weight gain at all..and was wondering if its normál??

I have only gained 7kg and am nearly 38wks (not sure how much that is in pounds) with this pregnancy,  2nd I lost 10kg and first gained 20kg - each pregnacy Is different so long as your stats are all fine and baby is growing I wouldn't worry. both of my first 2 were healthy babies as is this one to date.

You gained 25 pounds, which is normal for how far along you are. I'm 31 weeks and 2 days and gained 23. You're fine.

I was considered overweight before pregnancy.  With my first 9 years ago I gained 80 lbs and it was hard to get off. This pregnancy I lost 8 lbs and I gained 2 back and then lost them. I am all baby and he is perfectly healthy.A healthy baby is all that matters.  As long as ur doctor is not on u about ur weight then dont u worry either. :-)

That is a good weight gain so far...you will gain the most toward the end. Just keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine. Nothing wrong with being all baby...that means your body might bounce back quicker.
