Ok I have questions. .. I had my membrane sweep today... and I am been bleeding since I came ba c k from my doctors office... its light period how much bleeding is too much after having your membrane sweeped...
Oh and being induced is pretty much a long day. They start you off with pitocin to soften you cervix and start labor naturally. Your doctor might chose to break your water with a crochet look alike needle. Its a waiting game when you go in. You will know when you pass the membrane its a big chunk of mucous.
Im on pregnancy #3 and induced with both girls. Only on my second did the do my membrane and I had 2 natural births very fast and the most paiful part was actually the after effects of motherhood such as breastfeeding and urinating after you deliver. But nothing that doesnt pass in time. Every body is different and if u stress its not good for baby. Just relax and you should have a easy delivery.
Yeah they think I might need to have a c-section going into it because I'm 4'11 but they want to try. They don't know if my pelvis will be big enough
The sweep doesn't feel good to say the least
With my first I was 1cm when I got a sweep and within 36 hours I was in labor. It is very uncomfortable. I ended up needing a csection in the end though
Is sweeping the membrane painful
I had the same happen to me with my 1st. The sweep helped me. I was scheduled 2 be induced on a Mon and she came the Thursday b4.So I never end up getting induced.
