what should I do ??

So I'm suppose to be a little over 7 weeks pregnant I've had some complications as far as bleeding and spotting so I've been seen by my doctor every week at first he told me that he couldn't find the baby and I was send to a maternal and fetal medicine doctor where they found the baby and a heartbeat last week I saw my doctor and he found the baby and heart beat today he found baby but no heart beat and now he's telling me that I'm going to most likely have a miscarriage. I'm heartbroken I don't know if I should go get a second opinion or just wait and see if nature will take its course???

Go to another doctor, this one didn't seem very competent or caring. Always get second or third opinions.

I went for my first ultrasound supposedto be 7 wks.. they found an empty sac...said I was either only 3  or 4 wks or I lost it. its normal so early on as you are to not hear the heartbeat. When I went to my ob at 9 wks she said dont be scared if I dont find it. It depends on the positioning of the baby, whether the back is facing out, etc...if u still feel pregnant...it may take time

Always get a second opinion! It's still very early and many Drs say it can be difficult to find the heart beat. They are so tiny still. Call another office or clinic and say you need a second opinion.

I would go back to the maternal and fetal doctor to get another opinion. Better safe than sorry.
