So she's going to be fed almost all of the time through bottles. (depending on how it works out)
do any bottles work for breast milk?
How baby bottles do i need/what size bottles/slow flow nipples?

I recommend tommee tippee closer to nature bottles . Brilliant and easy to clean

I'd say so. Like some will seem to make them more gassy, but once my son could sit up on his own he never really had gas issues anymore. I did use the advent for awhile and I did like those too!

i currently have avent bottles, it's what my mom always used.. I'm getting a Medela pump.
Is it more so what the baby chooses?

I tryed a couple different ones but what I used was Dr.Browns helps with minimizing gas problems with a slow flow nipple....4oz size and I would get a pack witch usually has three...;) Hope this helps my baby did bottles the whole time I'm pumped (12) months.... I used advent bottles and playtex bottles with the sleeves for easy clean up. I also made sure i had the bigger wider bottle nipple that looks kinda like our breast. I breast and bottle fed all 3 of my girls and plan on breast feeding this one too.

Keep at least 4 to six four oz bottles during newborn months. When you notice baby starts wanting more then upgrade to larger bottles. I used a medela double pump along with the medela bottles and nipples never had any problems. You will produce more milk so conveniently use freezer milk storage bags.

Any bottle works, figure out what works for baby though. There are different sized nipples for different stages do start with the slower flowing nipples.

I would try out a few different brands to see what works best for you guys. I had dr. Browns and ended up hating all there parts that needed to be cleaned. Breastmilk is sticky and sticks to the sides of the bottles from the fat in the milk so you'll want something easy to clean. I'm going to try tomee tippee this time if I can't exclusively nurse. But my son never had issues with gas which is another factor.  So eventually I threw out the dr browns and just used the cheapo Gerber bottles cuz he never had discomfort. My suggestion, by a couple.of each and then buy more of what you.like!
