27 weeks pregnant and got the vaccine shot yesterday at ob appt. Now my arm is so sore I cant even bare to lay that way. Normal?
the reason why your arm is so sore is bc if you live inthe US, the vaccine is called Tdap. along with the pertussis vaccine, it also contains tetanus and diphtheria. the tetanus in the vaccine is what makes your arm sore. I've been a medical assistant for 10 years and give those all the time. once you get it tho, you should be good for at least 10 years. :)
Yes it is, my arm was like that for days after my flu shot and I go today for my pertussis vaccine so yay ha
I got it on monday after I had my baby so I understand. My arm feels like someone punched it several times! Lol its hard to because my feet are so swollen from labor it seems like all my limbs are swollen or out of service. We carry make it! :)
