Im doing water aerobics. It's fun and give me a great workout. You can make it how intense you want. And build muscles. I feel like I really can do a lot in the water. My hubby is doing it with me and that makes it more fun.
I agree. Anything you can do in the swimming pool gets my vote. There are exercises you can find online and as you get bigger and heavier it feels so amazing to get in the water to relieve the extra weight.
I'm 33 weeks and have been working out everyday. Just don't over do it and don't lift anything really heavy. I use 8 or 5 pound weights on my arms. But if you are unsure just check with your doctor.

My dr said if I was doing it before i got pregnant,it's fine to do during. Don't start a new, vigorous routine without consulting your dr.pool activity is good and walking. Yoga is good of you are in good shape.
Il almost 36 weeks and have been running and lifting heavy. Still bench pressing 80 lbs and lifting 40-50 lbs for other stuff. Just do what you have been used to.. if you used to curl 20 lbs totally go for it...

You can usually do more than what you think during pregnancy, as long as your pregnancy is healthy. As long as is doesn't put a lot of strain on your stomach or back you should be fine. Just talk to your doctor and make sure it is ok. I like to do squats and lunges because you can do them anywhere, even while watching TV. It also helps you get ready for the birth.
I was working out quite a lot esp in my second tri. My physio actually had more appropriate advice regarding what gym I could and couldn't continue to do. My doc was a bit blasé like yep, if uve been doing it and u feel good keep doing it. But the phsyio was like- nope that will work ur abs the wrong way etc. so check with ur physiotherapist rather than the doc- they are specific to the body after all.
