weight gain

I have a weight gain of maybe 1-2 pounds, i read that my baby should weigh 1.3 pounds already, im 24 weeks 2 days, the reason that i dont have a weight gain is because i lost so much weight with morning sickness, i feel as if my baby isnt going to be
well or doesnt have correct nutrients? Also my doctor is an absolute donkey i was already perscribed the wrong anti-biotic luckily i read the pack which said its not safe for pregnant women he then perscribed a different one and after finishing the course he told me i didnt need an anti biotic in the first place:@ and in all my life its the first anti biotic i ever took, so basically he has tried to tell me im exadurating about the weight situation. Has anybody had such minimal weight gain or any tips or advice?

I didnt start gaining Weight till 18 weeks and I gained it really slowly till about where your at then my appetite went crazy and I até whatever I wanted, now ive gained 19lbs and im 31 weeks. You will gain Weight and is say your baby is Fine. I was worried like you about weight gain But there are some women who dont gain much Weight at all and have big healthy babies. The baby will take what it needs from your body.

I agree with the other ladies. Im 33 weeks n recently just put on 4 pounds, n a few weeks ago my doctor told me that I only had gained 9 pounds so far... So don't worry about the weight Bcus u will eventually put that on. N find another doctor if u can, Bcus I actually switched my doctor around 18 weeks n it was the best I couldve done for me n my baby. Good luck :-)

I lost so much weight during the first trimester.  Then I countinued until recently to lose weight due to diarrhea. (Tmi) but I am now starting to gain :) 26+5. Sweety PLEASE get a new doctor. He seems very irresponsible and could potentially harm you and your baby! Keep us posted!

I lost 20 pounds in the first 14 weeks. The weight came back eventually. (And then some lol) The good news is the baby will get their nutrition regardless. They're going to take it from your body if they have to. So really the one most at risk of malnutrition is you. Make sure to eat small, frequent meals that are well balanced and all will balance out. :) good luck hon!
Oh btw - if you can change dr it may be a good thing. ;)
