Could it be labor?!

I had a stretch done yesterday at 130 pm. Immediately after I lost some of mucus plug... Well in the middle of the night I kept waking up because of pain which was just mild cramping. I was able to sleep thru it once I layed back down but it still woke me. I do feel baby having hiccups but no movements yet. Dr said for kick count don't count hiccups. The cramping is less then period cramping but stomach goes hard. Don't know if that would just be Braxton hicks or not. I'm not sure if just a stretch could bring on labor so I really don't know what to expect lol.

I'm a FTM so I'm not necessarily sure myself? All I can suggest is calling your on-call doctor and explaining the symptoms to them and see what they recommend? Good luck and best wishes!

My doctor said the other day if your not crying then its braxton hicks. She like you wouldn't be able to stand thw pain if it was real labor. I was like okkay..

Jasmine - I don't have a comment on your dr but from experience that is not true. I went 13 hours into labor with my first with out knowing I was in labor and didn't even know my water broke. (It broke in the bath or shower) des were shocked when they tried to break it. My second was the same. I was shopping at one of our malls waiting for the nurse to tell me it was time to go in for my induction.  I'm going to hold off for a while and go for a walk  then see. I'm going to have a bath right now. :)

It doesn't sound like actual labor, it could be what they call early labor or your body prepping. It's so hard to tell. Every woman and case is different.

Jasmine from experience she is right that isn't true. We can have contractions and not even feel them. I had to have premature labor stopped and the contractions felt like nothingmmore than mild cramping I was able to talk laugh and joke. And in past I've had BH that have brought tears to my eyes. It's hard to tell difference solely on pain, only way to know the difference for sure is to time them. Momof3cookin4 I would go for walk maybe just take a warm bath/shower and see if they pick up. Never had a stretch done so not surehow long it ttakes but it probably depends on our body. Who knows maybe yours is cooperative and it's the start of labor. Good luck.

I have contractions for a whole days while working before having my daughter. They were coming every 5-10mins, but only lasting 5-10 seconds. I went in on the second night. Nurse said I was dilated to a 1, doctor said I wasn't even that. They kept me.over night and sent me home after 6am rounds next morning. Came back that night completely dilated, ready to push. My daughter was face up that's what stopped me from having her in ghe car they said. I live 30mins from the hospital. That was my first. I'm hoping things go quick this time around too.

Whisper- that's what I am going. To try. We're getting ready and going to head out to finish up some errands. I have had the same with Braxton hicks vs contractions. So many. Mixed signals haha.

Update-- I am still having these pains almost like gas pains fairly regular after being out since 11 am. Let's hope they don't stop!! Also have had barely any movement.... Fingers crossed!
