My hubby and I just got a bfp 2days ago. When have been trying for about 8 months. In the beginning I was doing ovulation tests and eating right. We bd everyother day during fertile days. Then I was just tried of putting so much pressure on us I decided no more opk's and we would have fun trying. On my fertile days we bd everyday just cause we wanted to and I was on top most of the time. I didn't put my legs up this time I didn't wait to go clean up. And here we are I'm 4 weeks an 3 days. So I say justhave fun and DO NOT put too much pressure on yourselves.

Absolutely none of that stuff worked for us.  We tried for 2 years.  I changed my diet, hired a personal trainer, spent so much money on ovulation strips, got my husband tested (his sperm were nice and mobile even though he smokes cigarettes like a chimney). I took prenatal vitamins. Anyway... After my doctor said I needed a laparoscopic procedure to flush my tubes & fertility medications we were like uh... No.  That was this May.

So, here's what we did.  I drank herbal fertility tea beginning in June.  We had sex every day for thirty days (including during my period because I actually ovulate as my period is ending) and I got my legs up in the air.  And we conceived by July.

The tea was Raspberry Leaf, Nettle Leaf, Dandelion Root, Red Clover Leaf and Rosehips.

No cola or coffee etc. Drink water or fresh juice or herbal tea.  Dont eat bad foods like mcdonalds etc. Eat healthily, fresh unprocessed food is best, try lower your sugar intake too. You still need some sugar but get it from fruit and nuts.

Start changing your diet now.

Try to cut out caffine.

Start tracking your cycles and find most likely ovulation times.

Keep the Romance. Lots of couples turn it into another job and it can start causing tension if it doesnt happen right off the bat. Tension leads to stress, stress can prevent pregnancy.

Prenatals and Folic Acid

Keep your legs/pelvis elevated for at least 20 minutes after sex.

For you and hubby-

Try to reduce alcohol intake
Breathable underwear (ie boxers for him, cotton lined or full cotton for you)
try to avoid heated car seats and keep laptops on a hard surface with a chill pad.

Do Not stress yourself out. It will happen when it's meant to happen.

good luck and best wishes!

Make sure you start takig folic acid now. After you have sex dont go to the toilet right away to clean up, and eat and drink really healthy.  Also get your man to wear boxers so his *bits*  have good air circulation.  Aparently that helps.

Start taking prenatal vitamins now. Download an app to calculate ur ovulation,  have sex every other day during ovulation week making sure to do it on ovulation day! U on bottom during sex of course but there are other positions I'm not going to get into lol. I threw my legs up on the wall for 20min after sex.  Got pregnant on the third month=) good luck.
