name change in third trimester?

Have any of you ladies changed your baby's name after telling everyone what the baby's name was going to be? As soon as we found out at 20w we had decided Jay Anthony Munoz but this morning my SO told me he didn't want the middle name afterall. That we should go with Jay Giovani Munoz. It has a nice ring to it but I'm getting all confused now. Our child will forever have this name and it's hard choosing names from hundreds and thousands to choose from. I'm getting stressed and overwhelmed.  Any one else thinking about or have changed your baby's name?

I don't plan on telling anyone the name of the baby before it is born. My sister got sneers for the name she picked for her first so she changed it. After that they never told anyone the names of the baby until they were born. She has 4. :-) I've also seen friends or co-workers in the past "steal" baby names. Don't want that to happen so we are silent. Not even our parents know what names we chose.

My mom changed my name right after I was born lol. And I had two boy names picked out, I like them both and keep going back and forth but we already told everyone and my hubby is set in stone on one of the names so...we aren't changing

With my last, we didn't find out the sex but we chose names for both. Close to my c section date we changed the name if the baby was a boy. And well, we had a boy. I remember calling my son at school to tell him he had a new baby brother and he yelled out to his class, "I have a new brother his name is Steven!" And he was going on and on and I was trying to get his attention back to the phone to tell him it's not Steven lol my baby is 9 months old now and my son still asks why his name isn't Steven anymore.

We did. It worked out. I told my grandmother and she couldn't pronounce it   and she would be calling my daughter gazelle like the animal had we not.

Your child you can change names when you want to :) I've not picked my son's name yet and I won't until he's here but people keep asking his name because they want to get blankets with his name on them made...

I told family and really close friends both our choices (1 for boy, 1 for girl) the reception I got from them was not so great so we have changed the girls name and not told anyone! It's the way I plan to keep it till he/she is born
