14th week pregnant,looking fat rather than pregnant,follow up symptoms,random :)

Well im 13 weeks today. I was told i have a bicornuate uterus (kinda a bean shape) mild or sever i have no idea. Doctors are not good at informing you much. But i have a pic of the baby and heard a strong heartbeat of 141 bpm at the 7 week ultrasound. Im just praying i didnt have a missed miscarry! I dont think i will have another scan for a few weeks. Im def bigger than a few weeks ago. Im not skinny but not BIG either to begin with but is it normal for the belly to not round out for a while? Its just looks like a pouch in the abdomin. Like im really fat lol I will put a pic later to show what im talking about. Im constipated and still very fatique but never vomited thank God. But i was nasueas alot. I developed these headaches about once or twice a week that last like 10-12 hours. *****! My abdomin also feels kinda sore,cramping. Notice slight period like cramps the past week. I also have scar tissue from ectopic about 6 months ago thats bothered me since surgery which was on valentines day! Ah well, Im due Apr 25. Im pretty sure i will me pre term though hopefully i will make it to 7th month. Oh i also noticed flutters in the same spot on the left side. I only feel them waking up in the middle of the night and they dont feel like gas or bubbles...just..flutters. :) i hope thats a good sign.

Yeah your probably right about the scar tissue, when the NP tried to use the doppler @ 12weeks she didn't move it around that much, I think she was afraid of my scar.  But the Dr. tried really hard and she's the one that told me about probably not being able to hear it because the baby was moving so much.  I'm not sure what the baby is yet though, I already have a daughter, and my whole family thinks this one is a boy, I no idea though.  Well thanks for the info, and feed back. Yeah because at the time your wondering if your baby died. Im glad they saw everything was great. Im nervous about mine i hear alot about missed miscarry and praying thats not my case.

You had yours only a month from mine. I knew i was preggo though, when mine ruptured i couldnt move but shrugged it off (no insurance) and about the 5th day my ab was so hard and ache and pain came back on the side and arm so i went in and sure enough was full of blood, had all the surgery stuff and blood transfusion my whole body including nails were white as a ghost. I lost so much blood they werent sure if i would make it lol Thats great to hear on valentines day. But all went well and i recovered. I was so nervous about losing this other tube because thats all i have left. I dont think the scar tissue has anything to do with the monitor because the monitor goes thrugh intestines and skin muscle, all kinds of stuff. I just dont think she was looking right. The baby was pretty active. AND you got lucky and was able to see the little girl. Well im off to bed...i think i might go make a smoothie..thats sounds good!

Thanks, I have my 16 week appt. on Friday so I'm not real worried I will find out then.  The baby is defanatly alive, because when they couldn't find the heartbeat they brought in a u/s machine both times and we could see the baby moving all around like crazy and could also see the flickering of the heart.  Both times they didn't bother getting a beats per minute because the baby was moving around so much.  It's just really scary for the couple of minutes it takes for them to go into the other room and get the u/s machine.  

I had my ectopic at the end of March, I didn't know I was pregnant until two days after it had ruptured and my stomach was full of blood, they rushed me into emergancy surgery and cut about 5 inches.  I didn't have any blood left in my abdomen after because they sucked it all out.  So I didn't have to wait for the blood pouch thing to go away.  My scar gives me discomfort once in a while and I get swollen on the side they removed the tube, but for the most part I don't have any issues with the ectopic, I was just wondering about the scar tissue if it could have been why they couldn't find the heartbeat.

Im not really fat but not skinny so maybe the utuerus shoved all the fat in front lol Once it rounds i will feel better. He still has to go to training in feb. Which ***** because im due in April. They said he will make it here but might miss the birth which i hope not! Thats our first so its def the most importnant time. I think we might be going to mississippi or san diego. The 2 main bases for steel worker. So im waiting on medicaid right now.

I havent had a reading yet on the abdomin. I had a hard time getting looked at because of insurance issues but i go wed. I will see if they will hear it. I hope so cause i wanna know if its still alive! If the baby was moving aorund alot it would be hard to find it. My mother had that problem. Healthy baby but everytime she would i guess go over the baby it would move and she would have to try to find it again. The baby is still alive right? I wouldnt worry then if it is.

I had the ectopic and surgery feb 14th and still bothers me. Its like everytime i need to use the restroom i feel the pain/discomfort then when i go im better. Sometimes certain movements too. *****... They told me it was extra blood in this pouch thing and that it would be gone but it hasnt,(5 months ago they said that). Its more mild though but still there. Now that im pregnant i can really feel it! Not all the time but mostly when my uterus starts growing. Its a very distinctive feeling, hard to explain. But i will let you know my results wed but then again mine might be still at the time. I will jump around to wake it up lol I will also ak to doctor about your problem and see what his advie was.

I also forgot to ask you if when you go into the Dr. are they able to find the babies heartbeat with a doppler on the abdomen?  I had it done at 12 weeks and then again at 14 weeks and they could not find the heartbeat, I had an ectopic pregnancy in March and have a huge scar across my tummy like a c-section, so I was wondering if the scar tissue was an issue and if you were having the same problem.  Each time they couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler they did and abdominal u/s and we saw the heartbeat and the baby moving like crazy but they didn't get a read on what the rate was.  They also said that maybe they couldn't get it with the doppler was because the baby was moving so much.... Just wonder if you or anyone else has had this problem.

I'm just now 15 weeks with my second baby and don't really look pregnant yet either.  If I stand to the side right after I eat I look like I could be pregnant or just have a beer gut, LOL.  It depends on how you are shaped weather you will show soon or not.  I'm very tall so it will take me a while.  I see that your husband is in the Navy, where are you guys stationed in IN?  You should be able to go to any Dr. you need to get the best care, just get a referal from your PCM and aproved by Tricare.  I hope everything works out for you and your little one.
