Sounds interesting!! I've been looking for another pregnancy book to read and will have to read your references! I love the ferret analogy...perfect!! I have a very mildly-active baby boy I guess, b/c everyone talks about how hyper and constantly moving their babies are and though I feel mine moving, he's not super-tumbly or crazy active. He moves enough that I know he's there and doing well, but nothing excessive. I LOVE The feeling however, of him moving! It's funny to me, b/c when I'm reading a book, particularly a hardback, i rest it on the right side of my stomach and every time, he kicks the book! It's almost like a game now. I just wonder if the book is making a dent in my belly (b/c it's bigger and heavier being a hardback) or if it's touching his foot or maybe blocking his light...but it's definitely something! Other than that....no great kicking stories to tell but I do look forward to reading others!
My little man will not quit moving, LOL I definitely understand the 'ferrets'. He is so squirmy and my 3 1/2 year old gets a kick out of seeing his baby brother moving around. He even told me that since he was moving so much he must be ready to come out. :) I keep telling him we have to wait so that baby brother can grow some more and he says that if he grows too much he will pop out of my belly button. :)
lol! you have to read belly laughs, you'll pee your pants. when we were at the doctors last week they were using the doppler to hear his heart beat and he kicked the doppler so hard that we lost connection and it shut off the machine lol! the nurse was like "whoa that was a big kick" and im thinking....your telling me! lol ....i love it though, my little ferret :)
i call my baby little foot....which has turned out to be quite ironic. im sure he will probably be born with huge feet because of it lol
Yesterday I was sitting in my recliner reading an Elvis book and listening to some oldies CD's. When the Elvis CD came on she started kicking and kicking then I turned the music off and put in an Elvis special from Hawaii. She started kicking again alot! Not sure if she doesn't like Elvis or if she was in my tummy dancing.
My little guy doesnt really kick that hard. I feel him more often now especially when i first wake up and at night. If my bf is half asleep I'll roll over so my belly is pressed against his back and let the baby kick away at him haha it always wakes him right up. I also video tapped him moving and kicking one morning to email to my mom bc she is so far away and hates missing it all. I want a ferret in there! I like the analogy!
