preterm labour

started having contractions 2 days ago and was admitted to hospital for premature labour my cervix wasnt dilated then but they have been monitoring the strength of my contractions had to have steroid injections to mature babys lungs and they will carry out another internal tommorow just to make sure the contractions still arnt doing anything, but they seem to be getting stronger and im really worried that she wont hold on for much longer im only 28 +3 and doctors have said ill be lucky if i make it to 30... anyone have any advice on premature labour and birth would be much appreciated.

The pressure is going to happen to all of us because baby is going to drop and get lower into the pelvis. I would be more concerned with the contractions, any fluid leaking, bleeding things of that nature. If the pressure is getting really painful then I would consider going in.

i too was in the hospital for preterm labor..i was having contraction every 2-3 mins and was dialated to 1-2 cm..they gave me a shot of brethine and continued to monitor me and my contractions went from 2-3mins to 5-6mins and then they had slowed down enough that i could go home..im hoping she can wait another 6 weeks before i have her..just hang in there and take it easy..keep your feet up as much as possible..we dont want our babies to come too early

thanks guys not doing too bad so far contractons are a little stronger but im hoping to make it through to next week had a check up and blood pressure is raised so have to keep checking that but baby is back to back at moment so hopefully it will take longer for her to move down it took my first 3 weeks from labour starting for her to move out of the back to back position fingers crossed this one will hold on for at least 3 weeks x

last week i went in and i was 28 weeks and i had a small leak in my water..
they told me i could have the baby and the baby be fine, but they would have to keep an eye on him. they gave me some magnesium to stop my contractions not much to stop the water leak.. as far as birth... my first one was quite long. i slept all up until i was ready to give birth.. this time, i'll be sure to like bring a book or something. lol. i hope everything goes okay with ya and everything is okay.. =)
