Does anyone believe the old wives tales about a low heartbeat is a boy and higher is a girl? 12wks 2days...heard heartbeat for first time today and was at 165. So based on that its a girl. When are your doctors doing the ultrasound to find out the sex of your baby? My dr waits until 19 - 20 wks. So ready to find out now!

this is my third. not sure if im having a girl or boy yet.but im carrying low again... the only difference is i crave fruity foods this time... and ive been super over emotional. not sure if thats a deal breaker for having a girl... but i sure have been feeling pink.

My 1st had the same heart beat fr a couple of times when i gt checked,nd he is a.BOY..

From seventeen weeks I was told with my,first pregnancy that she was she the Dr I seeing even said the she sounded likes he by her heart rate but he was a she found out two weeks before I had her but I should have listened to the Chinese gender prediction test for all along it said that he was a she

Haha This Is Reassuring. Baby Is 141, Just Like My Son, But Then AgaInIt Takes Forever To Look Decent This Pregnancy! Who knows.

I've actually heard the opposite. A friend of mine worked in labor & delivery for many years and did an apprenticeship with a midwife... she said higher = boy lower=girl.  She also said girls suck your beauty (i.e. more acne, women needing to work harder to look pretty), and boys give you beauty (i.e. not having to or needing to put much make-up on and having more natural beauty/glow)... Lol
