Hope its time to meet my baby

i am 40+3 and having contractions since 1:30am , now its 5:00 am contractions are irregular with 5-6-7 minutes apart. Thinking to take shower, is it okay to have shower and then eat something and then see if they are more frequent. Water isn't broken..

If you go to the hospital without contractions or your water hasn't broken they will most likely send you home. Unfortunately baby comes when they want to come.

Eat before otherwise you may vomit while your pushing and that feels horrible. I was allowed to have a little bit of juice even right after baby was out and I threw it up right away.

I got told I was allowed to eat while in labour but probably won't want to

Yes , it's best to eat and shower before you go to the hospital. They won't let you eat when you are there.
