Getting induced 4/9

I am 39 weeks today and went in for my regular Dr. Appt. Last week I wasn't dilated so I was hoping that changed. And it did yay! 1-2 cm dilated and dr. Asked how baby was moving I told him he's moving but it's seemed to have slowed down. Which i just thought to be normal since its getting more cramped in there. He thought it was enough to go in and be sure. He told me to go straight to hospital for non stress test after the appt. So I went and everything seemed fine but because they felt the baby might be too big they went ahead and did an ultrasound. They measured him to be 8lbs 6 oz and said they thought I should be induced. So they scheduled me for Thursday April 9th at 330 in the morning. I'm so excited to meet our little boy! I like that I'm scheduled too because it gives me time to get everything together around the house and since the bags are packed just have to grab them and go! I am due the 14 so it isn't too early or too late, just right :) I'm 5ft and petite so I'm guessing that is part of the reason so also induce me ,they don't want him getting too much bigger and honestly either do I lol. I'm a little nervous but way more excited! Good luck to all you mommies! Our babes will all be here soon!

I'm being induced tomorrow the 8th at 6a! I'm so nervous, I'm a FTM and have no idea what to expect. Just can't wait to meet my little girl. It's still so hard to believe there's a whole little person in there! Good luck! Wishing u all the luck! Xxoo

Lucky! I hope my doctor feels the same... At 36 weeks it showed he weighed 7#s3ozs! I am 39 today! The US tech also said the measurement was usually a pound off and more likely he weight 8#s! I know he's gotten bigger since then because I can feel the extra weight!
