Induction experiences....

Any veteran moms out there been induced before? I'm going in the 8th to be induced. They say it makes things take longer, is that true? My doc said he's going to have me on cervidal or however you spell it and after 10hrs or so they'll break my water. Now after he breaks my water do things speed up or can they still progress slowly... I'm stressing out over here! Lol Cannot wait to meet my daughter tho!!!

How long did both of your labors last? I couldn't imagine kidney stones and labor pains! Talk about beast mode huh? Lol Thanks for the stories ladies!

I was induced with my boys, kidney stones and labor at the same time not a fun thing. When they break your water it is nasty and you just want to take a shower after. It can help move things along. Also they say getting an epidural helps too. My second I wanted to walk around but couldn't as I had to be hooked up. That was the worst part.

I started going into labour and kind of stalled with my first. They broke my water and started pitocin at 7am. We delivered at 635 pm. Just under 12 hours. I didn't think it was bad. We probably would have delivered faster but my son got a little stuck.
