first being mummy ....

I wanted to know if it hurts when they cut your vagina when your having.labor ? And when do.they put stitches does it hurt ?

It doesn't hurt because they numb you.  It takes a little longer to heal though afterwards because of it.

I wasn't cut but I had stitches and no epidural. They froze me for the stitches but it didn't take.  I hate needles and was scared to death but it just felt like a quick pinch. I was too busy with my new baby to really be paying attention though!

I wasn't cut, but my baby boy ripped me. I didn't feel it because I had an epidural.  When the Dr stitched me up all I felt was the tugging but it didn't hurt.

im a 1st time mum aswell , i asked my mum this question , she had a epidural with my brother and she said they had to stitch her up but as they were the epidural wore of , and it did hurt , but i dont know if they can give us pain killers or something so we dnt feel anything ,
