stretch marks or darkened veins?

I'm 30w 4d now & I have what I thought are darkened veins on my breasts. It's been this way since I was about 20 weeks. Its getting worse to where my breasts are total different colors from the rest of my body. I had on just a sports bra today while I was cleaning & my sister cringed at the sight of my boobs saying " gosh I hope I don't get stretch marks like that " . so according to her they look like my whole boob has stretch marks around it. But it looks different from the few tummy ones I have. Has this happened to anyone else & will it go away like darkened veins or is it actually stretch marks?

It sounds like it could be either darkened veins or stretch marks. And yes, both will fade and not look so angry shortly after birth. If you're planning to breastfeed, your breasts will stay large and veiny for a while until your milk supply regulates. That usually takes a few weeks after birth for me. Try not to worry too much about it, everything goes back to "normal" a little while after baby arrives. We'll get our bodies back soon!
