I am having one, going in for my 2nd vbac and it helps your body relax which means not a lot of extra strain and pressure on my scar!!! 1st vbac went amazing and am hoping for the same with this one!
I plan on getting an epidural. Not right off the bat, but once I start feeling the unbearable pain I will. Did it with my first and honestly I didn't feel a thing when I was getting it done...but that was because I was in pain and totally ready for it. I really don't think its much to worry about versus the tiny human coming out of your hooha
Does the epidural hurt?? I'm hearing all kinds of commotion about it. I have 12 days left and I'm scared. My daughter is a little big for her age. 7lbs. 11oz. Ftm.
I plan on using it! Because I'm having a VBAC and I'm kinda scared lol
I'm going without cause I wanna go into labor standing and using gravity to help baby out.
It actually helped me dilate all the way to a 10. My body actually stopped dilating and the epidural helped my body relax.
I also plan to not get it but I know that is my backup plan. If is decide is need it I will definitely get it!
I plan on not getting one at all but not afraid to ask for it if I need it! (:
I'm getting the epidural the second I can. I delivered my first son without pain meds and it was the delivery from hell. They cut me and I ripped. Was stuck at 9.5 cm for almost 5 hours and his shoulder got stuck.21 hours of labor. With my Second son I got the epidural at 4 cm and I had him 3 hours later. Smooth delivery. My opinion is the epidural helps your body be more comfortable and relaxed and moves things along faster.
Im hoping to make it without it if I can lol. I did with my daughter but we shall see. If you wait that long i dont think it will slow down your labor but i would ask when is the latest you can get it because ive heard of people asking for it and they say its too late. Goodluck!
