kittens/pregnancy

Just adopted 2 pet kittens, not knowing they could pose any harm to my unborn baby. After reading, now I'm scared I've made a big mistake. I know I should have checked it out before but I really didn't think of it. Anyone else have kittens/cats? If so, any pointers, or am I worrying too much?

Thanks

Don't worry! I have 4 cats, just stay away from the litter box!
This is a helpful article that disposes all those rumours.

Cats are fine. Just don't change the litter box. We have two and they curl up with me every night. They have become super clingy since I got pregnant and won't leave my side. :-) I love my kitties.

I have three cats and my doc just told me to not clean the litter box. So my husband has to do it even though he hates it lol. Have had cats all my life and never had any problems with them.  If you plan on keeping them definitely fix them and think about declawing if you want. Other than that they're easy to take care of. I free feed them so they eat whenever and have toys for them to play with so they don't get bored and a cat tree for them to climb on. Kittens are the best I hope you get to enjoy them :).
